Risk management

Not financial advice, but here are some rules I live by.

I've been there. The next eval felt like the fix, and the card was the problem.

Only buy what you can afford to pay off in the month.

It's easy to fall into the trap of spending on a credit card until you struggle to hit the month's payments. Trust me, I've been there before. Manage your credit limit and pay it down before you revenge tilt and buy another eval.

The aim of trading is not to make millions per year, but to survive the next day without blowing up.

I stop the day around -2R, and I stop after two losses in a row. If a firm's daily loss limit is most of the drawdown, I still stop myself near half of that room so tomorrow isn't a leftover.

The full list is on my rules. The account rules I check before I pay are in hidden conditions.

Need another eval? I've got you covered, grab my code here.

If you sign up through these codes I earn an affiliate fee, at no extra cost to you. It never changes my rankings, and I list firms I don't get payouts from too.
